Prosper & GPM
A young urban hip-hop/rap group recently becoming popular in the Local Ottawa Music scene is about to take on the world. With Canadian rapper, songwriter and producer Patrick Laguerre aka Prosper as their backbone. Gods Plan Ministry was created shortly after Prosper’s blooming popularity. They have played in the Cisco Ottawa Bluesfest and New York’s Urban Music Festival Lounge.

, Jason is a Canadian Country Singer prodigy ready to become a global sensation. He has been entertaining large crowds at local fairs and festivals with his family band. His Canadian breakthrough came when he won the CMT Project Discovery 2002. Hit singles include “That’s What I Do” and “Heartache Like Mine”.
Ottawa’s very own 70’s rock band and known for there song “Signs”. The Five Man Electrical Band has history dating back to 1964, when they were known as the Staccatos. Although they didn’t get as much attention as the Beatles or Bee Gees, this group of guys have some serious talent and are on the same playing field as the Beatles. Past hit singles that you should check out are “Absolutely Right”, “Werewolf”, and “I’m a Stranger Here”.
A blast from the past, the 50’s & 60’s comes to the SuperEx. Eddie and The Stingrays are a spectacular group of men who enjoy playing the oldies and dressing up as if it was the 50’s. Eddy and The Stingrays play a different type of show, where they mix comedy and music together. So, come out to and experience some history with a little pizzazz.

One of North America’s most requested comedian on XM Satellite Radio will be headlining for Absolute Comedy at The Ottawa SuperEx. Jocko Alston has over 15 years of experience in the comedy club scene and appeared on “Just For Laughs” festival. He has toured all over the world and entertained in different types of venues ranging from military bases to children's hospitals.

Abba Mania is a ten piece show group backed by studio musicians and vocalists. Their authentic costume changes and concert lighting recreates the magic and excitement of ABBA. The producers and cast of Mamma Mia, the sensational ABBA musical now playing in Toronto and touring throughout North America, engaged Abba Mania to perform at a special celebration party at the Royal Alexandra Theatre back in November of 2000.

Donnie "The Rainman" Leafloor is proud to present a musical tribute to Elton John - The Yellow Brick Road Band. Yellow Brick Road brings together six of Ottawa's finest professional musicians and uniquely captures the spirit and power of Sir Elton's music while adding our own personal energy and showmanship to create a dynamic and fun live show. The material spans Elton's 40+ year career from such great albums as Elton John, Don't Shoot Me I'm Only the Piano Player, Captain Fantastic and The Brown Dirt Cowboy, Madman Across the Water and of course Goodbye Yellow Brick Road.

Irish Descendants
Newfoundland ’s finest Juno-award winning singers come to SuperEx this year. Many albums produced by the Irish Descendants are considered golden in the Irish Music Industry. The Irish Descendants have been touring all over the world for 20 years. They have played for royal European guests, heads of state, and radio stars. Recent albums released that have been met with great success are “Across the Water”, “We are the Irish descendants”, and “Southern Shore”.

’s beloved singer Gail Gavan is a born entertainer. She has won “Entertainer of Year” at West Quebec Hall of Fame Awards and also is the author for Ottawa Lynx theme song. Her music composes of classic country music and often stars fiddler Louis Schryer and the Schryer dancers.

in 1981, Honeymoon Suite is a hard rock band with no limits. Their official debut was in 1982, when they won the Homegrown Contest put on by Q107-FM radio. Honeymoon Suite became an instant hit and began traveling all over North America; opening for North American favourites like Billy Idol, April Wine and Bryan Adams. Just a couple of years later, the band won the 1986 Juno award Group of the Year and sold over 400,000 albums.
One of Canada’s Juno-Award winning classic rock bands, The Stampeders are well known internationally and have toured all over world than any other bands in Canada during the ‘70s. If you plan on coming to the Ottawa SuperEX all day with a special date, then we suggest you end the night with some upbeat and relaxing music by The Stampeders.
Are you ready to put the pedal to the metal? Burn some rubber? Then come to Ottawa SuperEX and hit another car without having to call your insurance company! Ottawa SuperEX will be hosting a Demolition Derby on the last day of the exhibition. The Demolition Derby is an open event to all park visitors and registration as a participant for this event is limited. The event will be open for the first 20 entries in Mini Smash and the first 20 entries in the Pro-Modified Class. Participant will be allowed 1 driver and 1 pit member on the park site for free on the event day. Minimum age to participate is 16 years old. Participants are subjected to rules and regulations upon entering this event.
Entry fee for this event is $ 50. (Incl. Ottawa SuperEX Park Entry)
All participants must supply their own equipment and vehicles. Rules and Regulations are available for download below. It is imperative that all participants and pit crew members follow these rules and regulations.

Jon “Gonzo” Mark hails from Brantford, Ontario. He developed a love for radio pretty early on, but his girly voice seemed like it might make radio a bit of a challenge. Regardless, Gonzo forged ahead!
He worked in Saskatoon, London, 97.7 HTZ-FM in Niagara, and at Q107 in Toronto before coming back to Ottawa. When he isn’t driving in a demolition derby, Gonzo can be heard weekday mornings on The Gonzo Show with Kaz and Jay on Virgin 106.9
