XTREME WILD

A Predator and Prey Show

The concept of "XTREME WILD" is based on the reality of predators as hunters. They hunt, kill and eat. The process of food procurement is the definitive aspect if all predator biology. Kittens and cubs at play are manifesting hunting behaviour. A predator can hunt without eating but cannot eat without hunting. Hunting is life to predators.

This exciting and educational show depicts predatory animals and their prey – featuring a tiger, lion, wolves, a panther and even a domestic cat. Conservational facilitators are on hand all day so fair-goers can learn about these beautiful creatures.

Showtime: 2:15, 4:30 and 7:00

Look for the Camel Caravan – an area from where fair-goers can watch the predatory animal exhibit as well as experience a camel ride.

Location: on the north side of the Rona Pure Country Pavilion
